Why is Summer Learning Important?

It is essential that youth continue to stay engaged during their time spent out of school and throughout their summer breaks. During these times it is crucial that young people have continuous opportunities for continued learning, healthy activities and nourishment, and adult supervision. The benefits of attending a proper summer program for youth will be to close the summer learning loss gap, stay active and healthy, and to have trained adults guiding youth development.
